1) Valentine's Day Recipes
2) How to Celebrate Without Sabotaging Your Diet
Happy Valentine's Day, my wonderful bariatric warrior! I hope you’re feeling loved and appreciated today.

Whether you're celebrating with a romantic partner, a gal pal, your trusty furry companion, or any other pal-entine, I hope you're feeling the love so far today. As for me, I wanted to spread some extra love by sending out the newsletter a day early.

Now let's talk about how to celebrate this holiday without sabotaging your diet!!

We all know that Valentine's Day is associated with chocolate, candy, and other indulgent treats. But just because you’re watching your waistline doesn't mean you can't join in the fun. That’s why I wanted to send a couple of simple, fun recipes you can make tonight!

And here are a few MORE ideas to get you in the spirit:

1. Instead of chocolates, try making some heart-shaped fruit skewers with strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, and/or honeydew.

2. How about heart shaped egg muffins?

3. Raspberry nice cream?

See recipes here.

4. Give your sweetheart a homemade coupon book filled with healthy activities, like going for a romantic walk or trying a new healthy recipe together.

5. If you're going out for a special meal, do some research ahead of time and choose a restaurant with healthy options. Choose self-love by making good decisions instead of self-indulging.

6. Last but not least, don't forget to treat yourself to some non-food love today! Who says self-care can't be fun? Whether you indulge in a bubble bath, a yoga class, or just curl up with a good book, take the time to pamper yourself today and tonight.

Wishing you a happy and healthy, love filled Valentine's Day!
